Since 2011, serving up free local color and a dessert that’s hauled home five Best Dessert titles from Mississippi Magazine for Connie’s Blueberry Doughnut Bread Pudding— made with the same Connie’s doughnuts every Tupelo kid grew up on. The BC Burger is the award-winning house double-patty. The Surf & Turf is crawfish, ground beef, and (per the menu) “love.” The Brown Bag Rag Bologna Sandwich is fried Mississippi roundsteak with bacon jam and a fried egg on Texas toast. The Open-Faced Grit Crusted Catfish lands with collard greens, orange marmalade slaw, and a hot honey drizzle.
